Selected P.S. #39 middle school students researched various artists and techniques for designing a pumpkin.
Eighth grader Naieli Perez, inspired by Zentangle designs, showed her school spirit by fashioning a panther and paw prints on her pumpkin using permanent marker and vinyl stickers.
Eziekel Zapata, eight grade, also used permanent markers to create linear designs inspired by Halloween motifs.
Gabrielle Henry in seventh grade used craft paint to transform her pumpkin into a dark and spooky ghost!
And finally, Jayvon Navarro, seventh grade, created a charming Jack-O-Lantern inspired face with linear inspirations from animated cartoons.
